A Community Where Life Feels Easy, Safe, Welcoming, and Peaceful
A Community of Givers
The Gloucester Community Shop is built on the kindness and dedication of locals who give their time to support others. It’s more than just a shop—it’s a place where the community comes together, lending a hand to those in need and making a real difference in people’s lives.
To Remember
Since WW1 Gloucester has sent her sons and daughters to defend our Nation in all of the branches of the military, many never to return. Their sacrifice is inscribed on the Memorial Clock Tower, and each ANZAC day is remembered at dawn service held at the clock.
Organised by the Gloucester Business Chamber various markets are held at the Gloucester Billabong throughout the year.
The Farmers Market on the second Saturday of each month, The Community Market on the Saturday of long weekends and the Twilight Market just before Christmas.
Since 1908 the Gloucester AH&P (Agriculture, horticulture and Poultry) has hosted the annual show each March-April at the showground. Rides, showbags and so much more.
The year ends with a bang at the annual New Year’s Eve celebrations held at Gloucester Park. Large crowds gather to eat, listen to live music and of course, watch the fireworks.

To Support & Help Others
In country towns, looking out for one another isn’t just a tradition—it’s a way of life. In Gloucester, this strong sense of community runs deep, with volunteers and service organisations forming the heart of the town.
Whether it’s local branches of NSW and Australian initiatives or globally recognised service groups, these organisations provide support, connection, and a helping hand to those who need it most.
But their impact goes beyond those they serve—they also bring friendship, purpose, and a true sense of belonging to the people who dedicate their time to making Gloucester a better place for everyone.
